- Heraldry has taken many forms in America and can be seen just about everywhere. For the quickest examples look at the state flags and seals. There are a lot of states that have a complete and recognizable Coat of Arms. Examples to look at include: New Jersey, Hawaii, New York, Idaho and many more. - The military is without question filled with heraldic art in one form or another. In fact the only part of the government that regulates heraldry is the U.S. Army Institute of Heraldry. Its sole purpose is to regulate government and military heraldry so that they are unique, inspiring and that they do not conflict with other government designs...

- Industry is also where you can find a wealth of heraldic art in America. The first two companies that come to mind are England Shipping and the Cadillac Cars. Cadillac uses the Coat of Arms of the Cadillac family that helped settle the region of present day Detroit.
